More than 17 years ago, our journey began in Mozambique, where our founding practice was established under a different brand as a law firm, duly admitted and regulated by the Mozambique Bar Association. From the outset, our mission was to provide practical, commercially focused legal solutions that enabled businesses to grow with confidence.

As our reputation grew, so did our clients. What started as a national legal practice evolved into a trusted advisor for clients from South Africa and around the world. International investors, financial institutions, multinational corporations, development agencies and entrepreneurs increasingly sought our expertise not only for legal matters, but also for navigating complex regulatory environments, market entry strategies and cross-border business opportunities.

This growing international footprint inspired a new vision.

Recognising Johannesburg as Africa's leading financial and commercial hub, we established OMNIS Legal Advisory SA as our regional headquarters. This strategic expansion marks the beginning of a broader African growth strategy, positioning OMNIS as a gateway for businesses investing, operating and expanding across Southern Africa while preserving our deep roots and long-standing presence in Mozambique.

Today, Mozambique remains one of our core jurisdictions. Through our established legal practice and extensive professional network, we continue to provide clients with privileged access to the Mozambican market while seamlessly supporting business activities between Mozambique and South Africa. This integrated approach serves as the blueprint for our future expansion into other African jurisdictions.
